Summary

Come to the quiet of Bellarmine and take some time for yourself to get away from the distractions of life so you can read, write, catch up on sleep and pray. Spiritual Direction is available upon request with advance notice at time of registration. Otherwise, the time is yours to pray and enjoy the serenity of the house and grounds. You may register for either five or eight days.

Registration requires a $100 deposit. 

5-Day Individually Directed Retreat ($725 total including deposit)

8-Day Individually Directed Retreat ($1,140 total including deposit)

Description

Directed retreats are traditionally eight days long. This means 8 nights over the course of 9 dates. If you are unable to stay for the full retreat, you may abbreviate your retreat and register for a five day retreat.  

During your retreat, three meals are provided each day. Daily activities include, daily mass, the opportunity for one-on-one spiritual direction with a trained spiritual director, and many other opportunities to explore a number of sacred spaces on our 80 acres and almost 60k square feet of  interior space. All activities are optional, but we do ask everyone to respect the quiet of the retreat house for everyone to have the opportunity to read, sleep and reflect in the quiet. 

Bellarmine has two libraries, a resource center, two chapels, and many other common areas. Outdoor spaces include a various walking trails, various prayer gardens, a gazebo, stations of the cross, as well as a few patios and outdoor chairs and benches. The $100 deposit is refundable until 30 days before the start of your IDR. We often have people that are on a wait list for the IDR. The 30 days provides them time to make plans to attend if you need to cancel. After 30 days the deposit is non-refundable unless the retreatant is sick.

If you need to change the number of days you are registering for, you must do so at least two weeks prior to the beginning of the retreat. After that, there are no refunds for early departures.

Registration deadline is dependent on when we reach max capacity. If by some chance we don't reach capacity, registration will be cut off on June 10, 2024.
