This August, Bellarmine will begin drilling a new well nearly 800 ft. below the surface to access a reliable source of water for generations to come.

Project Scope & Cost
Well Construction — $250,000
- 800 ft. of 6-inch steel casing and piping
- More than 200 bags of cement grout
- At least 1,000 ft. of electrical wire
- A 25-horsepower motor capable of pumping 50 gallons of water per minute
Infrastructure & Connection — $250,000
- 140 ft. of iron pipe
- Trenching from the well to the main building
- Well pump control system
- Control wiring
- New electrical transformers
- Back-up generator to provide water during power outages
