Le invitamos a participar en una jornada espiritual en la cual aprenderemos a revestirnos del corazón de Jesús en el mundo actual en que vivimos. Como Iglesia, acabamos de celebrar la Fiesta del Corazón de Jesús, pero somos conscientes de que ahora nos toca reproducir la manera de ver, sentir, juzgar y actuar de Jesús en un mundo que, al menos en muchas ocasiones, no concuerda con el modo de ser de Jesús. El propósito de este día de oración y reflexión es: ayudarnos a discernir esta situación y pensar nuestro modo de responder pero con los ojos y el corazón de Cristo.
El día combinará tiempo de oración, pláticas, almuerzo y conversación, adoración y misa, junto con el sacramento de sanación.

A day or evening of reflection, grounded in the Jesuit tradition, is a shorter version of the Ignatian Weekend Retreat. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, a day or evening program is sure to give you the peace and serenity needed to be still and to rest in God's loving embrace.
Your day or evening of reflection includes thematic talks from our skilled Retreat Leaders, time for private prayer, celebration of Mass and a meal.
Bellarmine has two libraries, a resource center, two chapels, and many other common areas. Outdoor spaces include a various walking trails, various prayer gardens, a gazebo, stations of the cross, as well as a few patios and outdoor chairs and benches.

Fr. Dan Hartnett, SJ
Fr. Dan worked in Latin America (Peru) for over 20 years. He then returned to Chicago to assist with Jesuits in formation at Loyola University. After working at Loyola for ten years, he was asked to be pastor at Most Blessed Trinity Parish in Waukegan and, then subsequently, pastor of Robert Bellarmine Parish at Xavier University in Cincinnati. Once completed those assignments, Dan returned to Chicago where he serves as spiritual director, instructor and associate pastor at St. Ignatius Parish in Rogers Park.
