Life rarely follows a straight path. Unexpected joys, sudden losses, new opportunities, and unforeseen challenges all shape our journey. In these moments of uncertainty, we are invited to pause, reflect, and seek where God is leading us.
This retreat offers a sacred space to explore the ways in which life’s detours and disruptions are not obstacles, but invitations—callings to trust, to grow, and to deepen our relationship with God. Through guided reflections rooted in Ignatian spirituality, personal prayer, and quiet contemplation, we will consider how God is present in the unexpected, gently guiding us toward a future filled with grace.
Come with an open heart, ready to listen to the stirrings of the Spirit. Together, in the silence and beauty of retreat, we will discern how life’s twists and turns are shaping us for something greater—leading us ever closer to God’s loving embrace.
This retreat includes several presentations, daily mass, 6 meals, the opportunity for one-on-one spiritual direction with a trained spiritual director, and many other opportunities to explore our 80 acres and almost 60k square feet of interior space. All activities are optional, but we do ask everyone to respect the quiet of the retreat house for everyone to have the opportunity to read, sleep and reflect in the quiet.
Bellarmine has two libraries, a resource center, two chapels, and many other common areas. Outdoor spaces include a various walking trails, various prayer gardens, a gazebo, stations of the cross, as well as a few patios and outdoor chairs and benches. Each retreatant has their own bedroom.
